home-cooked dinner

I had a really fun evening with Paul and Shannon. They actually came over to my apartment and cooked me dinner! It started out a little rocky though when we were grocery shopping and Paul locked his keys in the car. An hour later, after AAA finally arrived, we were back to my place.
They made me chicken enchiladas, and they got to experience the trials of cooking a dinner with the bare minimum in pots, pans, utensils, and plates! I kept telling them.. sorry, but I can only bring what I can fit in my car! Paul also taught me how to cook quesadillas on the stove. It is so easy. Why did I ever think that I needed a quesadilla maker? I will be trying it soon, that's for sure.
Anyways, the enchiladas were fantastic. Finally, the smells emanating from my apartment were the envy of my neighbors (instead of the other way around)! On that note, my neighbors should invite me over for dinner sometime. It would be the neighborly thing to do, after all.
Anyways, thanks Paul and Shannon for a fun evening.
