The Coronado Bridge

After work on Saturday, kraig and Mateo headed to the border to buy some Christmas presents... and that's the only hint I am giving. In the evening, Kraig and I went to see the movie Twilight on Saturday. Now, it may be for teenagers, BUT we loved it. And now we cannot get it out of our heads... maybe that is some kind of vampire trick, I do not know. Anyways... on Sunday we visited Coronado Island. We drove over the giant bridge and looked through the shops at the ferry landing. we got flipped off by some locals- and we didn't even deserve it! We were going to eat world-famous brunch at the Crown Room in the Hotel del Coronado but we just couldn't bring ourselves to spend $70/person. It does sound really fantastic though. The menu has everything one could imagine plus mimosas and screwdrivers! Maybe we will come back someday and eat there. I hope so. We drove around the island a little and then headed back to San Diego. We went and looked around the Fashion Valley Mall for a little while. Later that night, we ate at the pizzeria across the street from our apartment, called "Oggi's." It is kind of a sports bar, so all of the locals were there watching the Chargers game. The fans were crazy and loud.. so we are going to count that as actually going to the real football game. I mean we are pretty close, we always know when the game starts because jets fly right over our apartment! We had a fun weekend together and are looking forward to Thanksgiving!!!
