happy March!

The sun is out! Thank goodness. Oh, how I have missed it. I really do feel like actually getting out and doing things again, and I have been! I even started working out again!
Yesterday, I went to Baltimore with my friend Kim from work. We went to the convention to go to a "craft show" with 700 different vendors. It was more an art show than a craft show though as they had many beautiful and expensive pieces. I did come away with a Mother's day gift for my mom and this really cool portfolio for myself made out of recycled billboards. I had never seen anything made from recylced billboards so I had to have it! I thought it was a great idea. Kim and I had fun walking around and also looking at all of the eccentric artists! Afterwards, we ate at a place called California Tortilla. It is kind of like Qdoba and was quite good!
Today I went and hung out with my old college roommate Ashley. We were going to go out to dinner and see a movie but she has a rambunctious puppy and we had to change our plans. Instead, we went to her house where she made me dinner. I really like her house, and she has a pool! She made me tacos and I sat around and chatted with her and her husband. It was fun, and I am glad that my coming to Maryland has helped us reconnect. Hopefully we can get together one more time before I leave. Her crazy dog also made me feel a tad bit better about Baxter's craziness!
