decorating

Today I went back to help with the gingerbread house. I was able to finish up my little "fondit elf octopus," make santa hats for the fish, make an anchor for the sunken ship, and make some starfish for the underwater christmas tree- (they are the ornaments). Cindy finished decorating the gingerbread "sand castle." I learned a lot- like to bond different candies or types of frosting together, you use vanilla as the glue. When the alcohol evaporates out of the vanilla it bonds the sugar together. It was really, really fun, and the house looks really awesome! It's so cute... we have to win.
