Baxter updates

Baxter went back to the vet today. He weighs 3lbs 8oz. He got his rabies vaccine and his distemper booster shot. He also got a bit of the spa treatment. He got his claws clipped and his ears cleaned out. He also got his leg X-rayed. It seems that for some reason or another, the growth plate behind his elbow does not connect to the bottom part of his leg. The X-rays are being sent to an orthopedic vet to see what they recommend. We shall see! Anyways, Baxter has pretty much been sleeping all day since the trip to the vet. Once again, everyone there said he is a very good boy! They also told him how handsome he was... and we said, thank you but we know.
Also, Baxter is a "caving kitty." He has started this new thing where he tunnels under blankets and sheets and just lays there. He is crazy but oh so freaking cute. He still likes to sleep under my chin or sprawled out next to me. He also likes to rest his head on my shoulder. He really knows how to win someone over.
I didnt really do anything this week, except for work. It was not a bad week of work- except for the fact that I had to park in a different parking garage last night and when I got out of work this morning it took me 25 minutes to find my way through the building back to the car. I was very grouchy by then! Luckily, the apartment complex was handing out free breakfast to all of the cars this morning. I got a muffin and an orange juice. Free food always helps my mood.
