luau

Aloha! Thanks to everyone who came out to the party! This year, the theme was luau/Hawaiian. Kraig and I hope that by having this kind of party that it will give us good luck and that we will get to work in Hawaii some time in the upcoming year! So, keep your fingers crossed for us. Anyways, the party went pretty well. I decorated with tiki torches, leis, and paper lanterns. I also tried to make the party educational by teaching some hawaiian words, such as nene = goose and hala-kahiki = pineapple. I'm not sure that it caught on, but oh well. The shish-ka-bobs were a hit, and fun to make, I might add. The jello shots also went over well, as usual! In general, everyone just hung around, talked, ate the food, and some played a little game I like called beer pong. Next year, Kraig and I are going to team up to become the ultimate champions! Also, next year, kraig promises not to try and beat everyone up. Oh yeah, even though it was cold, I still went on the slip-n-slide. I am proud to say that I am getting slightly better. And... I almost forgot, the best part was that Kraig's dad dressed up too! I even got a photo of him doing the hula!
