happy reunion

I have not really seen many people from my old high school days since graduation- Probably because I mostly lived in Grand Rapids after high school and then have been traveling around the country since college, but now that I am back home for the next few months, I suspect it will happen more often! Well..my first meeting was definitely a welcome one! Yesterday, I ran into my high school chemistry teacher, Mr. Bierwagen at Menards! He found me first while I was looking for a handheld hummingbird feeder (they exist, I will find one). I was so happy to see him again! We talked for awhile, and I introduced him to Kraig. I was so happy that he remembered me because he was one of my favorite teachers of all time! I loved chemistry class. He made it so much fun. We learned about forensics and did plenty of experiments. Val and I even have our own burned ceiling tile in that old classroom! I wonder if he still has the dashboard hula girl that I gave him. hmmm. Anyways, I was also happy that he recognized me because that means I do not look much different from when I was in high school! I can't believe that next year I will have been out of high school for 10 years. I was just so happy all day because of our meeting. He is so nice. I hope that I run into him again while I am at home.. Now, I need to run into Mr. Frazee...
