"Pinch," the mascot of the Blue Crabs
the sweetest shirt everLast Thursday, kraig and I went to watch the local minor league baseball team- the blue crabs. We went to the game in the evening despite the fear of being rained out.. because it rains here.. ALL THE TIME. This baseball league is pretty cool- some of the other team names are the riversharks and the barnstormers.
We ended up having a great time. I like watching all of the contests and promotions that they do at these kind of games. The Blue Crabs lost but they got their RBIs when it counted. During the 4th inning, the "Arrrby I inning," if the blue crabs got one RBI the people in the first row of our section would get free Arbys coupons. If the blue crabs got two RBIs, the whole section would get Arbys coupons. And oh yah, we were in the chosen section. We cheered loudly to get that free food! They ended up getting 3 RBIs in that inning. So it was pretty cool. The coupons were for combo meals, and we actually used those coupons today! Nothing makes me happier than free food.
The main reason that we went to the blue crabs baseball game is that well, i like crabs. I think they are funny. I bought a shirt that says "Proud member of the Crustacean Nation." I thought it was so funny, and I will wear it with pride! Kraig got a cool, crabby hat too. What can I say, we are two cool people, and we had a great time together just kicking back at the game!

Yay for free food. Arby's here is giving out free food every Wednesday this summer. Okay technically you have to buy a drink BUT a Chicken Club Sandwich for $1.44. That's pretty darn good... you know... for Arby's. This Wednesday is free sidekickers.
