We made it to Pensacola, FL earlier today. It is 49 degrees here. Kevin would like to thank Michigan for sending the cold weather down here. Anyways, we have had a good trip so far. On Thursday, we left around 12:30. I am pretty sure that we actually packed less this time.. and I can see a little bit better out of my back window! I got 29.7mpg on Thursday and 31.4mpg today. Pensacola is really cool. I love all of the different bridges over the bay. It all seems really pretty. We got here later so we were not able to see much once it got dark. Unfortunately we have to leave really early in the AM to get to our apartment before the office closes. We hope to come back for a weekend in the future. Tonight, Kevin and Jason took us to an oyster bar/restaurant called Peg Leg Pete's. It was a really cool place. The boys ate up the oysters.. They tried to talk me into trying them, but thats just not gonna happen! They look too slimy. Jason and Kevin taught us that oysters are only good to eat raw during the cold months otherwise they are bad and you can get sick from them. Good to know... but I do not plan on ever eating them- so I will be safe. I did, however, eat fried calamari. Shocking, huh? It was actually pretty good, like a mini, spongey onion ring. They tried to get me to try other crazy things like fried clab craws, grouper, clams, and oysters... but I said that we had to take it slow. Kevin and Jason had drinks called Shipwrecks and I had a frozen hurricane in honor of Florida. On the way back to their house, we saw the graffiti bridge and went "off-roading" in the jeep when we could not find a connecting road through this one area. All in all it was a great day. Now we are having some drinks, playing Guitar Hero, and playing with Cody, Sady, and Shelby. Thanks guys for letting us stay with you! Our apartment is in Port St. Lucie, FL, and thats where we will be tomorrow!

We don't want this -20deg crap. We're just spreading the misery out.
I didn't think that I would like oysters either but they are really good. How about cooked?
Take care there.
