Fort Pierce Inlet State Park

Today, Kraig and I went to Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. I have read that it is a good beginner's surf beach, so I wanted to check it out. I also wanted to go beachcombing (looking for shells, glass, odds and ends washed up on the shore). The beach was really pretty, and there were surfers in the water. They were not in full wetsuits! I will have ot consider whether I need a wetsuit or not! Anyways, it seemed like a good spot except for the fact that there are no board rental places in a state park! Also I would have to carry my board really far to get from the parking lot to the beach! So, I guess that I will have to find a different place to go.
Kraig and I walked along the water looking for shells. I guess that the water was not that cold- or I just got used to it. It was 77 degrees again today and it was perfect! We decided that we are going to make jars of certain colored shells, like a jar of blue shells and a jar of yellow shells. Then we can use them for decorations.
I had a lot of fun- whenever I am by the ocean I am happy as a clam! haha get it?!?

I not sure I want to hear about your warm weather, after spending 2 days at the Snow & Ice festival out doors with temps 12-20, but it was sunny with blue skys, yea. And I did so shopping at Birch Run. How big is the town you are living in & how big is the hospital?

i would say that the town is decent sized, i mean i swear i got through at least 18 stoplights to get from my house to work and that is in 9 miles.. the hospital is smalllll.. the campus that I am at only has 60 inpatient beds.... in my zone i work with one other nurse and one aide. both nurses have 6 patients... we have to pass our meds with a omputer scanner and every day that I have been there only 1/2 of the scanners work so you have to share. at least there were enough IV poles last night.... i am really not liking it :(
