post-election

Well, Obama is our new president. I am happy- but since this is not really a political/opinion kind of blog... I do not feel like forcing that on anyone. It was weird though to be on the West Coast for the election. Due to the time change, the polls were still open out here when Obama was declared the President. It was also weird to watch from afar what the result was back in Michigan. Out here in Cali, they had tons of proposals on their ballots- like 15 or so. Some of them were very interesting, and I am excited to be here and see the results.
Today, I plan to go swim laps in our apartment complex's pool and to spend the day cleaning. Our friend, David, is coming out here to visit for a few days, and he is getting here tomorrow. I think that we will have a good time! I am also working on scrapbooking our first trip to California- I wonder if I will be done before Christmas...
