Old Town San Diego
On Sunday, Kraig and I visited Old Town San Diego. It is a state park which has multiple buildings that have been renovated and date back to the 1800s. Now, each building gives you a little bit about its history and is a little shop or restaurant. There is an old schoolhouse, convent, stable, bank, courthouse, prison cell, churches, and stores. There are a lot of little museums to roam through also. We had fun going through the shops, and we ate at a restaurant called O'Hungrys (which Kraig chose). The funniest thing is that when my mom and I were out here 6 years ago.. we actually ate at the exact same restaurant! This time Kraig and I shared a "yard of beer." It comes in this giant tube sort-of glass. It had been a goal of mine to get one of these... so we did. I will post pictures once I find our USB cable. Also, kraig and I plan to visit the "Whaley House." It is said to be the most haunted house in America and it is located in Old Town San Diego. Maybe we will go there around Halloween!
