It was a finger-licking great day! Today, Kraig and I went to a rib cook-off in Sparks, NV. It is a big festival... where they have around 25 different rib vendors from around the world. They say that over 150,000 ribs will be cooked over the weekend! There were also craft booths, a carnival, and bands playing. For the small price of $900 you can buy a table that seats 10 people and have free beer and ribs for an entire day at the festival. We opted to try "sampler" platters from different rib vendors which included 3-4 of their featured ribs. We tasted ribs from Ohio, Australia, Florida, and Michigan. All of the ribs were really great and the different barbeque sauces were pretty tasty! In the end, we liked the ribs from the Michigan and the Ohio vendors the best.
