Today we checked out a good portion of the Reno strip- where most of the casinos are. After you have been to Las Vegas, it is a little disappointing- but it looks like it is much cooler at night. Also, it has a lot of advantages to Vegas- lower minimums on the gaming tables, free parking, and cheaper buffets!
We walked through some of the casinos and gambled at the El Dorado. We are going to keep a running tally of how much we win and lose gambling while we are here. Today we were winners! I won $1.15, and Kraig won $4.50 playing video blackjack. We played for a long time and then went and gorged ourselves at the casino's buffet. The food was good, but man, were we miserable afterwards! We will definitely be hitting up more buffets during our stay though!
