fishing

Today Kraig and I hung out at my uncle's house on Bass Lake in South Bend. We went over there for some peace and quiet and fishing on his lake. He wasn't there so we hopped on his boat and took it out on the lake. Kraig has fishing poles and was excited to go since he has not been fishing in awhile. I like fishing.. but not the worms- but I tried not to annoy Kraig with that. It was decently windy when we were out fishing so it was hard to keep the boat in one place. Neither of us even got a bite in the hour and a half that we tried. Oh well, we had fun and did catch some seaweed! The funniest part was that when we were out on the water my uncle ended up coming home. He knew it was us, because he told us we could come over and go fishing anytime. Anyways, my uncle called us while we were out on the water and said, "Pirates! bring my boat back!" It was pretty funny, and I guess we really were pirates. After all, we did commandeer his vessel!
After fishing, we visited our niece and nephews and got some Dairy Queen double cheeseburgers. I had a coupon that I did not want to waste. We had a fun evening together and ended by packing my car. Maryland or bust in the morning!
