ridin' the ferry

Well, I had wanted to feel like a real Washington native and ride a ferry- so, that's what I did today. I hopped the ferry on the Seattle waterfront and rode it to Bremerton, a nearby island. It was fun to be out on the water. The ferries are pretty big because they carry a lot of cars too. However, there was absolutely nothing in Bremerton! They did have a fountain park, which I mainly went to see. Once I saw that, I got some cheesecake ice cream at Coldstone Creamery, got back on the boat, and took the hour trip back home! Oh well, it was something different to do, and now I can say that I rode the ferry!
