my first day

Well, as of this AM, I made it through my first night.. it was only orientation though and I didn't do a lot of patient care.. but well that's jsut fine with me. I work on a medical-surgical tele floor.. and according to CA law, my max pt. load is 4.. and they really do adhere to it!!! So that's nice.. okay and no offense if anyone that works there is reading this that this applies to.. but I saw like three nurses that wear these fanny pack like pouches that hang off of a belt around their waste. yah, it was weird. Anyways.. today kraig and I also went to Santa Monica. It was 80 degrees and that means beach to me! It was really neat.. just like the pictures. We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. It was pretty good, but I had another mild allergic reaction.. I got all stuffed up, sneezy, and my eyes started to get puffy/itchy. i do not know what is wrong with me. Anyways, it was neat and i want to go back and explore the city for the entire day and eat elephant ears and ride the ferris wheel and stuff like that! I am still working on posting pictures.. so someday they will be there!
