I am a TV star

My Hands Across the Sand event is this Saturday, so to get a little extra publicity, a group of us went on Channel 5's "Window on St. Louis." It's kind of like the St. Louis version of Good Morning America where the people stand in Times Square. We stood outside (in the awful 100 degree heat) and held up signs during the news broadcast. After the show, one of the broadcasters came out and I had 30 seconds to talk about our event.
I had practiced and planned what I was going to say, but once that camera got in my face, I forgot exactly what I had wanted to say. Everyone says that I did fine, but I know that what I had planned to say was way better than what I did say! Oh well, since we have no tv, there is no way I ever have to watch my performance! And I never want to either!
Anyway, hopefully we get some last minute publicity and more people will join us at the Arch this weekend because of it! The day is almost here, and I can't wait for it to be over!
