the drive home

Am I crazy? Yes, I think I just may be. I have driven 18 hours in the last 2 days-
I left Michigan on Monday and made the drive to Spring City, TN with Baxter in tow. Along the way- I discovered an exit in KY that is home to the first KFC and the birthplace of Colonel Sanders. I may have to go there at a later date!
I arrived in Spring City around 8pm and had no trouble with the drive until trying to find Kraig's apartment. I had an address and the description that it is a remodeled school house within a trailer park, shouldn't that have been enough? Well, not around these here parts. Amidst the poorly marked roads (green street signs with the names painted on them), the dogs chasing my car, and the roads that turned out to be really long driveways- I got very lost.
Thankfully, I eventually found my way with help from my Garmin... psych! I meant to say with the help from the gas station employees.
Kraig's apartment is tiny (pictures coming in a few weeks) but it has cable and internet included (which puts it ahead of mine).
Baxter wiil be staying with Kraig until his neutering in 2 weeks, and he made himself right at home. I left for Maryland on Tuesday morning after Kraig gave me a tour of Spring City and after we had breakfast at the Red Barn Restaurant. It was actually a really nice place inside a building that looked like a barn! Kraig got the "moo moo omelette" at my request. It was awesome! The food was good and cheap, and I hope to come back in a few weeks.
