This morning Kraig and I met my grandma and my aunt at the Wonderland for a cheap movie, free popcorn, and some last minute visiting. I love the Wonderland: I also got to use my movie gift card. Since the theatre had to raise its admission prices- it now offers free popcorn more frequently. We may have went to the 9:05 am showing of Sherlock Holmes but I still had some buttery popcorn!
Kraig and I enjoyed the movie very much. I am thinking that I need to check out the Sherlock Holmes books. I think that I also need to visit London.
We spent most of the day packing because we have to leave for Maryland in the morning. I have to work tomorrow night at 11pm, and it is about a 9 hour drive (depending on weather and traffic) so it will be quite a long day.
In the evening Kraig and I got to hang out with Bryan and Sandy! They are our friends from LA. Okay, so Bryan is my friend from high school who now lives in LA and that is where we reconnected with him and his wife, Sandy- so call it what you will.
Anyways, we had so much fun! We hung out with them at his parent's house which was nice because I got to see the rest of his family. It took me back 10 years, and there were great holiday leftovers and margaritas involved! We had a really good time talking- about what I am not sure. I can't even remember- I just know that Kraig and I both enjoyed ourselves. The only thing that I have a faint memory of is... some sort of a plan between Sandy and I to move to Longview, WA to help them better market their squirrel bridge. Bryan thinks that this career change may not be conducive to paying off Sandy's law school loans.. but hey, who can put a price on happiness? Speaking of happiness, I am pretty sure that Kraig and Bryan are planning on us meeting up in Vegas sometime in the near future. That will be fun, but I also hope to meet up with them on a sunny CA beach eating In-n-Out burger.
