brings back memories

Today I did something that I have not done in a good 4-5 years (back in the good old college days). What is this you ask? I set off the fire alarm while cooking dinner! Apparently you should not cook something in olive oil on "high heat." Well, luckily it was just like riding a bike. Ya never forget! My reflexes quickly kicked into place and I was able to sprint to the fire alarm, chair in hand, jump up.. disconnect it and turn on all of the fans and open a window all in under 20 seconds. Oh yah.. no fire department calls on me, I say.
