Blowing Rocks Preserve

My dad and I went to Blowing Rocks Preserve in Hobe Sound, FL on March 4, 2009. It is a little ways south from here. It ended up being a really cool place. The park lies along the ocean and the coastline is covered with limestone rocks, really sharp limestone rocks. We were there at the perfect time of the day because the tide was on the high side. When the waves came crashing into the rocks, it would send up big sprays of water. In some places the water would gush up through a "blowhole" in the rocks. We had a really good time walking up and down the rocks and dodging the water sprays. You know me though, I loved getting hit by the water!
