Well, Aunt Bette, today we visited the Fremont Troll. It was pretty cool. It is a monument which lives under a bridge in a Seattle neighborhood called Fremont. Fremont is a neat little area too. They have tons of restaurants and odd, artsy people and places. The people that live there pride themselves on being weird. Their neighborhood's motto is "De Libertas Quirkas" which means "Free to be Peculiar." I love it, and I think a huge pseudo-cement troll clutching a VW bug underneath a bridge qualifies for that!
This week we also hung out with our friend Bryan- he was in town from CA for work. We ate at a microbrewery called The Pyramid down by Safeco Field in Seattle. We had a really good time. The restaurant was really neat inside, and the food was good too!
Finally, a special hello to Zach and Adam, our #1 blog readers! We will post some pictures for you soon!
