Souplantation

Yesterday (march 1), we went to eat at a wonderful place called Souplantation. It is a soup and salad buffet, and it is great! Also, I had a "buy 1 get 1 free" coupon. Anyways, you can make these ginormous Caesar salads, eat tons of bread, and have unlimited soup! I am gonna open one in MI, because soup is such a comfort food during the winter! Now nobody steal my idea- Anyways, kraig and I continued our quest for pictures of people wearing boots. Boots are THE thing out here. I do not think that they realize boots are for snow. Sometimes people have cute outfits with boots, but most of the time.. no. We do not want to tell the Californians this- but just because you put boots on with your outfit- does not make it trendy! People tuck wide leg jeans into their tall boots or their uggs, and half of the jean hangs out of the top of the boots. They also have boots with big old tassles or big bulky patches of fur. They even tuck sweatpants into their fancy boots! The little kids wear boots, and every once in a while you see guys wearing "girl-type" boots. We have seen people wear capri pants with boots. Sometimes- they just wear a longer shirt with leggings and boots- no pants! Today we saw a girl wearing sparkly tights with her boots. We even saw this mom wearing knee high nice boots, with a nice long coat... AND basketball shorts. Seriously people. We are trying to get some good pictures, so that you guys can fully comprehend this! Every day, it's some new way to wear your boots. I feel that I should get some boots so I can fit in- but Kraig says that I am not allowed to. he did say that I could get rain boots for Seattle though! and I am planning on getting some flashy ones!
