movies

Well, today was my last day of orientation to the computer system. Tomorrow night will be my first night on the floor. I am pretty nervous! Today, after work- Kraig and I went to the local Koo-koo-roo. It is a restaurant which is kind of set up like Boston Market. It has a cool name but the rest was just okay. I did like my chicken noodle soup though! Then we went to downtown Burbank. It has a mall and a lot of shops, restaurants, and bars. It is a really neat area and we will probably go back soon. Anyways, we went there to go to the movies. We saw National Treasure #2 which was good... but guess how much it cost???? For both of us, the movie admission cost $23!!!!! We could not believe it! kraig and I might go to a prescreening of a movie tomorrow or Wednesday and get to have input on how the movie ends. We also got told about sitting in on focus groups to pick movie trailers... and we get $75 for one hour of work!!! We thought that all that sounded pretty cool- we feel in the movie spirit put here. Hopefully we will see a movie star soon!

Your story makes me love Wonderland that much more. :-P (Are we done calling it The Ready yet?)

The movie screenings sounds like fun. What about the testing groups for the actual films? Have a great time at your new job and hopefully the President will be around visiting and then need a reason to go to your hospital. (Note to Secret Service--that was not a threat.)
